United Assembly is officially up and running. We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to researching, developing, and publishing model public legislation that addresses the real challenges facing Americans today.
What We’re Building
Our first major initiative — the Affordability Act — is already published and available at affordact.com. It’s a comprehensive proposal addressing the affordability crisis, from housing costs to everyday expenses.
But that’s just the beginning. United Assembly exists to be a factory of civic change — producing well-researched bill proposals on a range of issues and getting them into the hands of advocates and lawmakers who can act on them.
